JMC Academy graduate Zac Loy has recently began an assistant editor position on the feature film 'San Andreas' - a huge budget Hollywood film starring Dwayne Johnson, Carla Gugino, Alexandra Daddario and Art Parkinson. The Brad Peyton-directed movie is being shot in Queensland over the next few months and is due to hit theatres on June 5, 2015.
Zac who graduated in 2014 is already flying, after taking out the Best Editor award at JMC Academy's very own film festival; The 2013 Martini Awards. Zac kept in contact with judge Elle Croxford who put his name forward when they were crewing the film.
The film is based on the infamous San Andreas fault, where in the aftermath of a magnitude 9 earthquake in California, a search and rescue-chopper pilot (Johnson) and his estranged wife make a dangerous journey from Los Angeles to San Francisco to save their only daughter
