Orientation takes the guesswork out of starting at JMC.

No matter what path led you here, orientation will be your first step in joining our creative crew, and we’re thrilled to have you join us. Whether your campus is Brisbane, Melbourne or Sydney, you'll get to know the space, meet your campus director and connect with your cohort before classes even begin.

This means you'll meet students not just from your course, but people exploring different talents and passions too. This melting pot of culture and creativity is sure to bring so many exciting experiences to your JMC journey!

• A walkthrough of your program structure and what's expected of you 
• Practical study tips to help you hit the ground running 
• An introduction to JMC's support services 
• Icebreakers, games and refreshments with your new peers

How can you make the most of your JMC experience from day one? Turn up ready to talk. 

The creative mind next to you could be a future collaborator or just a good friend you make. Ask the question that’s worrying you, your campus director and support staff are there to help you build a plan, not just hand you a list. Say yes to the icebreakers. They always feel a bit silly at the start but then all of a sudden, they’ve worked.
