JMC Academy is dedicated to offering students real life industry experience throughout their degree to provide them with the skills and knowledge they need for a successful career.
That is why, JMC Academy Brisbane’s Film and TV Production Course teamed up with Western Star Trucks to develop a series of videos
. These videos aim to engage with its customers and tell the story behind the company and its employees.
“We couldn’t be happier with the outcome of this new collaboration between JMC Academy and Penske Commercial Vehicles. We went into it not quite sure of the standard of work we would get, but when we received the final videos we were astounded by their professional quality. Each one of the five video portraits has its own unique beauty – encapsulating the uniqueness of each of our drivers. The process itself was painless for us, the students acted with complete professionalism throughout the production phase, and delivered us these amazing videos. We look forward to a long and mutually beneficial relationship with JMC Academy, as I believe we, as a company, and they, as students, have the opportunity to enhance our portfolios in a wonderful, unique and creative way.“

This opportunity comes as part of JMC Academy’s internship initiative that sees each student presented with the chance to work in a real life industry environment, in course- specific roles through a partnered company, as a credited course unit. This initiative has seen other students working in companies such as Kiss FM, Austereo, Hidden Sydney and Vevo.
