We love music festivals.
Seriously, who doesn’t? In fact, the only thing we don’t like about music festivals is that the majority of them are only on during the hotter months, leaving us stuck waiting out the colder days listening to bangas in our cosy bedrooms and counting down the hours until fezzie season kicks off again.
But lucky for us, a team of legends decided to change the mould and put on a little festival called Snowtunes in Australia’s snow capital, Jindabyne. This year they pulled in some of Australia’s biggest acts, including headline slots from The Presets and The Reubens.
For this year’s Snowtunes, we teamed up with production company Chromatic and sent a bunch of JMC interns out to help build and prep the stages while gaining some real experience working alongside some of the industry’s best.
We caught up with the crew once they returned back to JMC to ask them about how it all went.
