Introducing the Winners of our Canvas Art Award Competition

Visualising our Future World is looking far more creative than usual…

JMC Academy’s Creative Scope Team was so excited to announce the 2020 Canvas Art Award Competition back in April this year, asking high school students with a knack for either drawing, painting or using creative digital mediums to create an illustrated scene.

In line with our worlds current and rapidly changing socio-political and technological landscape with a movement of young voices attempting to build a better future, we asked our entrants to creatively interpret this year’s theme of Visualising our Future World. Each creative student had the chance to show us how they think our future world would look like, how we will live and what legacy we will leave behind for future generations.

We were blown away with the range of submissions that came through with some students focusing on analogue artworks, digital 2D artworks or 3D artworks that captured their vision for the future in a uniquely creative way. We'd like to say a BIG THANK YOU to all our high school student entrants for submitting their works of art, we can say with certainty that the future of design and animation is in good hands.
