Film & Television graduate heads off to make a movie in the USA

His JMC journey might have recently ended, but Brisbane campus Film and Television graduate Harrison Crabbe is about to start a brand new voyage.

Harrison_Crabbe2.jpgHarrison has been offered a paid role as First Camera Assistant on JMC lecturer Vince Verdi’s feature film Stalking Shatner—a road movie set and filmed across the United States. Filming will take the small crew from Los Angeles to sites such as the Grand Canyon, Las Vegas, Tucson and Roswell.

Harrison says he’s over the moon about the opportunity to learn from Vince, network with gifted filmmakers over in the States, and eat lots of good fast food. Vince is equally excited to work with Harrison, stating he thinks the film industry benefits greatly from recruiting young talent.
Harrison jets off this month. We can’t wait to hear his stories when he returns!
