Lewis Mitchell

Audio Engineering Lecturer

Lewis Mitchell is a contemporary record producer, engineer and songwriter. Lewis Mitchell started his career at Jungle Studios in 2013, working with notable artists like Urthboy, Birds Of Tokyo, and JOY.

He eventually joined Sony Music in 2016, where he lent his talent and passion for recording to artists such as Delta Goodrem and Gang Of Youths. His work on the latter's album, 'Go Farther In Lightness,'earned the record four ARIA Awards.

robyn dixon

Head of Department
for Animation & Games

Robyn Dixon, has an impressive background in the industry. Robyn's experience extends beyond academia; she was a UI Artist at Big Ant Studios, contributing to the visual aspects of gaming experiences.

Based in Melbourne as our HOD, her professional journey also includes working with notable clients such as the School Library Association of Victoria, Hardie Grant Egmont Publishing, Jetstar, Appster, Moose Toys, and Restless Socks, highlighting her versatility and wide-ranging skills.

Dan Mifsud

Music Lecturer

Dan Mifsud (stage name: Ric Rufio) is a songwriter, producer, multi-instrumentalist and JMC Sydney music lecturer whose dynamic career has led him to collaborate with some of the most revered artists worldwide.

He has shared the stage with Ed Sheeran and Adele and is currently a leading tour vocalist for Flight Facilities, a role that has seen him perform at major international events, including Coachella in 2024. In addition to his collaborative work, Ric has pursued his solo career with notable success.
