JMC Academy Bachelor degree students have the exciting opportunity to spend one semester at TAI Artes in Madrid, Spain. As part of this exchange, JMC Academy may also welcome TAI Artes students to our campuses.
This exchange program is a fantastic opportunity to immerse yourself in a new culture while advancing your studies. TAI is a truly unique place, and a cultural nexus of Madrid, as an on-going venue for concerts, art exhibitions, theatre, festivals, film and photography shoots, and master classes conducted by top Spanish and international artists. TAI blends interdisciplinary practices, contacts with the art industry, intensive workshops, and dedication to creativity.

DISCLAIMERS AND SPECIFICATIONS:
Due to capacity limitations, the number of places for incoming students will be limited in most degrees, and therefore, some of the nominated students may be rejected.
- 15 September 2026: Applications to JMC close
- 23 September 2026: Successful applicants notified and nominated to TAI
- 30 September 2026: Successful applicants need to apply to TAI
- 11 - 13 January 2027: Orientation Week (subject to change)
- 11 January - 30 April 2027: Semester duration
- 20 May 2027: Exam period end
This program is available for Bachelor of Visual Communication (Design) and Music students who have completed 3 trimesters of their degree.
As TAI Artes is based in Spain, most of their courses are taught in Spanish and students are expected to embrace the challenge of managing the language. Students interested in enrolling in these courses must demonstrate a recommended Spanish proficiency level of B1-B2 (CEFR*). Applicants will be subject to an interview to access their level.
There are a few programs in English, but limited spaces for those courses.
