Access to FEE-HELP
JMC Academy is a registered Higher Education Private Provider. All of our higher education undergraduate + postgraduate programs are eligible for FEE-HELP.
What is FEE-HELP
The Australian Government student loan scheme
FEE-HELP is a loan for tuition fees from the Australian Government for eligible higher education students.
To be entitled to FEE-HELP you must be an Australian citizen or meet other secondary criteria. During the application process, your student admissions advisor will guide you through the fee options including FEE-HELP.

Fee Payment Options
Domestic students have the option of paying tuition fees prior to the commencement of each trimester or deferring payment through FEE-HELP.
Unless applying for FEE-HELP, tuition fees are due four (4) weeks prior to the commencement of the course. Payment for all fees is in Australian dollars and payment can be made by cash, credit card or cheque made payable to JMC Academy.
Tertiary Access Payment [Regional]
The Australian government has taken steps to assist people living in regional areas of Australia to pursue tertiary studies through Tertiary Access Payment (TAP).
What is TAP?
TAP is a one-off payment of up to $5,000 to help eligible students with the cost of moving to study after they've finished year 12 or equivalent.
Who is Eligible?
To get the payment you need to meet the eligibility criteria, some of which include:
- Moving from an inner regional, outer regional or remote area for tertiary study
- Moving to study at a tertiary education provider that's at least 90 minutes away by public transport
- Starting tertiary study in the year after finishing year 12 or equivalent
- Have completed year 12 or equivalent
- 22 or younger on the day you start your tertiary course
Regional areas are places that aren’t in or near a major city. You can check if your family home is in a regional or remote area using the Student Regional Area Search.
You can claim this payment in your first year of tertiary study only.
Other Details
Fees will be refunded in full if the student withdrawals or defers prior to the Census date. No FEE-HELP will be incurred if a student withdrawals or defers prior to the Census date.
No refund of the relevant trimester/semester's fees will be applicable if withdrawal occurs after the Census date, unless special circumstances apply. A FEE-HELP debt will be incurred for all enrolled units of study for the trimester/semester if the withdrawal occurs after the Census date. Deferment of a course is not allowed after Census date.
In the event of JMC Academy cancelling a course, all fees paid in advance will be refunded within 14 days of cancellation.
