The Promoter may require evidence of asset provenance and may disqualify any entry that, in its reasonable opinion, breaches this clause.

10. Any game submissions already published must be independent releases (self-published without a third party publisher). Entrants warrant that no agreement with any third party prevents the game from being exhibited at PAX Aus 2026.

The winner will be selected on Monday 17 August 2026 by a panel of JMC expert staff based on how polished the game is, creativity and originality of mechanics/story, overall play experience, and ability to fit the conditions of entry (Clause 8-10). The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. The winner will be notified by email and phone within [2] business days of selection. If the winner cannot be contacted within [5] business days, the Promoter may select an alternative winner.
