The AGDA Design Awards recognise the best work in Australia across a wide range of disciplines every year with the aim to further the discussion about design and to stimulate the creative progress of the industry.

In 2020, AGDA’s 48 Jurors deliberated and judged over 1700 entries nationwide to reveal the AGDA Award Finalists. With 5 student categories including Student Identity, Print, Packaging, Crafts and Digital, we are very proud to announce the nomination of Umairah Qamar in the Student Digital Category.

Little Haven

A Sydney Visual Communication Student who just completed her final trimester at JMC, Umairah entered the AGDA Awards with her Animation, Moving Image Design titled Little Haven. All Student Digital category entrants submitted designs for moving image work that are suitable for websites, digital publications, apps, digital installations, concert graphics, presentations and animated signage alike.
