JMC Academy is thrilled to announce the Excellence Scholarship, a program that gives eligible students a 20% reduction in tuition fees for the full-time duration of their course. The scholarship recognises the talent students have already shown and backs them as they start building a creative career. Through the scholarship, we reward outstanding performance and celebrate the hard work behind it.
What the Scholarship Offers
Starting an undergraduate program at JMC in Melbourne, Brisbane or Sydney? The scholarship is open to new JMC students at any intake, and it applies to all undergraduate creative industries programs. Whether you’re itching to animate your own characters, mix your next track or design a game world, you could be in the running. Eligible study areas include:
- Acting and Music Theatre
- Animation and Game Design
- Audio Engineering and Music
- Film and Television
- Design
- Entertainment Business Management
Who’s Eligible
The best bit? There’s no separate scholarship application. If you receive an offer for a course, you’re automatically considered if you meet the Scholarship Terms and Conditions.
How It’s Awarded
The scholarship is competitive and awarded on merit. We look at the whole picture, which can include your results in previous study or equivalent, your portfolio and an interview, all assessed against our admissions criteria. Each piece tells part of your story. Everyone has their own creative niche. At JMC, we see creativity as a serious skill, and we value the flair that makes each person unique.
