The 2012 JMC Academy Martini Awards were held on the 19th of November at The Vanguard in Sydney. This year was the first time the awards were held in Sydney.

The event screened over 20 shortlisted films created by JMC Academy students across numerous categories including documentaries, short films and animations. What was witnessed was truly some of Sydney's most promising new filmmakers.

BEST MOCKTAIL
In recognition of the supremely talented high school-aged filmmakers, we also ran an award category aptly named. the Mocktails. The Mocktails invited high school students across Sydney to submit a short film or documentary. The award and corresponding accolades went to talented High School Student and filmmaker
