Our annual Martini Awards is a red-carpet event and platform for students and alumni from Film & TV to get their work on the big screen. This showcase is judged by leaders in our industry, with categories from short film to music videos (and everything in between). Mark Overett

Mark Overett is a writer/producer and founding partner of Australia/New Zealand production company New Holland Pictures Two.

Mark's films include 6 x AFI Award winning drama “Unfinished Sky” (2007, dir. Peter Duncan); NZ comedy “Separation City” (2009, dir Paul Middleditch), Danish/Australian action/comedy “At World's End” (2009, dir Tomas Villum Jensen), and Finnish/German/Australian sci-fi comedy “Iron Sky” (2011, dir. Timo Vuorensola), thriller “The Fear of Darkness” (2014, dir. Chris Fitchett). Recently, Mark's film AZZURO, starring Olivia Simone and Grey's Anatomy's Giacomo Gianniotti, won Best International Short Film at the 2018 Santa Monica International Film Festvial.

Aimee Cheung

Film & Television
Senior Lecturer Brisbane

JMC Alumni, Aimee brings over eight years of production experience to the role.

Having worked as First, Second and Third Assistant Director, Production Assistant and Standby Props on acclaimed projects including In Limbo, Mortal Kombat 2, Spit, Rock Island Mysteries, Young Rock and Thirteen Lives. Aimee's extensive industry experience informs her teaching, guiding students through real-world skills and insights in screen production.

Brad Lyndenmyer

Film & Television Lecturer Brisbane

Brad has been a Film & TV professional since 1993, working predominantly in the post production department.

He has worked on an impressive 10 feature film projects, which includes two major Hollywood films; Peter Pan and Ghost Ship. He also has worked on 10 TV drama series, including award winners such as Mortified, Animalia and Cyber Girl. As a director, Brad has directed several documentaries and two art films. Brad has worked either directly for or on products that have been screen on all of Australia's major TV networks and overseas broadcasters, such as BBC, American PBS and US cable networks.
