A seasoned broadcast pro with 18+ years on major UK game shows and deep teaching experience.

Matt worked on iconic UK shows like Deal or No Deal and Family Fortunes before moving into higher education in 2008. He now mentors students through major projects and into careers across the film and TV industry.

Peter George

Head of Film & Television

An award-winning filmmaker with Sundance and AFI credits across doco and fiction.

Peter’s films have screened globally, including Original Schtick (AFI winner, Sundance selection) and The Triangle Wars (Best Australian Documentary, Antenna). He brings decades of industry insight from film, publishing and media to every class.

Eve Waugh

Film & Television Lecturer

A creative production designer and animator with a passion for handcrafted detail.

Eve brings a rich design background across animation, textiles and illustration. A graduate of AFTRS, UTS and Monash, she’s known for her original prop work, strong visual storytelling and collaborative approach to filmmaking.

Dr. Georgia Wallace-Crabbe

Film & Television and MCI Lecturer

A documentary filmmaker and academic exploring powerful social and environmental themes.

Georgia has directed and produced award-winning films like Cultivating Murder (SBS) and leads research-based creative projects across film and video art. She holds a Doctor of Creative Arts and brings a deeply interdisciplinary approach to storytelling.

The foundation I gained at JMC made me feel competent from my first role.
