Brisbane Entertainment Business Management students Emmy Cone and Mitch Ryan have been named in this year’s The Push – Youth Music Organisation 25 Under 25, recognising young people making a real impact in Australia’s music industry.

It’s a significant milestone for both of them, and one that reflects the work they’ve been putting in behind the scenes.

Emmy Cone: Building a Career on Her Own Terms

Eight months ago, Emmy was working in a corporate role that didn’t feel aligned with where she wanted her life to go. Music was always the constant, but turning that passion into a career felt distant.

Since then, she has launched her own agency, Fever Dream Music Co., now manages two artists, produces live music events, and works in music almost full time.

“Eight months ago I was in a corporate job I hated, quietly dreaming about a life where music wasn’t just the thing I loved most, but the thing I did,” Emmy says. “Now I manage two artists under my own agency and produce live music events. It genuinely feels like a fever dream come true.”

Mitch Ryan: Momentum Through Consistency

For Mitch, 2025 has been defined by steady momentum and a lot of work.

Over the past year, he has completed more than 100 interviews, delivered three REVERIE ROOMS events including the first Melbourne edition, and stepped into a paid role within the music industry.

“2025 has been a hectic year with so much happening,” Mitch says. “I’ve done over 100 interviews, held three REVERIE ROOMS, and started working a paid job in the music industry, which I never thought would be possible.”

Being named in The Push 25 Under 25 was a moment of recognition alongside people he deeply admires.

Emmy and Mitch are already doing the work. Building projects, taking chances, learning quickly, and finding their place in the industry in real time.

Being named in The Push 25 Under 25 is a meaningful moment along the way, and one that reflects how much they’ve already put into their careers.

We’re proud to be part of their journeys so far and look forward to what comes next
