NAIDOC Week is a powerful time for reflection, celebration, and learning. At JMC Academy, we are proud to honour the culture, history, and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples across our campuses and within our creative community.

This year, NAIDOC Week marks 50 years of week-long celebrations across the country. The 2025 theme, The Next Generation: Strength, Vision & Legacy recognises the courage, wisdom, and enduring resilience of young First Nations peoples as they carry forward the world’s oldest living cultures. It pays tribute to the strength inherited from Elders, the collective vision held within communities, and the powerful legacy of those who paved the way.

Celebrating on Country

We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which our campuses are located. We stand on Gadigal Land on our Sydney Campus, Turrbal and Jagera Land in Meanjin/Brisbane and Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung and Bunurong Land in Naarm/Melbourne.

Events Across Our Campuses
