Change of Preference season is when thousands of soon-to-be grads take a breath, zoom out on all that they’ve achieved, and make sure their next step actually aligns with who they’re becoming. 

This December, JMC Academy is hosting Change of Preference Nights across our Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne campuses: it’s a free in-person evening designed to help you explore your options, meet our creative community, and get tailored advice before you finalise your choices. 

Whether you’ve already applied or you’re still working out your direction, this is your space to get clarity, confidence, and a real sense of what your future could look like. 

So… what exactly is Change of Preference Night? 

It’s an open invitation for Year 12 students and recent school leavers to explore creative study pathways and make sure their preferences reflect their goals: not just what you thought you had to pick during exam season. 

Maybe you’re: 

• rethinking your preference list after receiving your results
• weighing up offers 
• curious about what studying a creative degree actually feels like
• ready to turn that “I’ve always wanted to…” into something real
