This special free workshop is led by JMC’s Head of Music Theatre, Ben Samuel, with guest artist Natasha Veselinovic (Les Misérables World Tour, Peter and the Starcatcher, Into The Woods). It’s designed for aspiring performers 17+ who are interested in Music Theatre, Acting, or Music, or anyone wanting to explore what a professional training environment actually feels like.Â

This is a hands-on session designed to boost your skills, build your confidence, and help you picture your future in performance. Bring along any song you want to develop your skills on, and you can have time on the floor to workshop your performance with industry professionals. If you’ve ever imagined yourself on stage, or simply want to deepen your vocal craft, this is your chance to try it in a supportive, high-energy environment.

Arrive on campus, and meet Ben and Natasha! Dive into the world of vocals, and learn how your idols master vocal self care, and nail their belts night after night.
Come prepared! Each attendee will have the chance to perform a song they are working on, and receive valuable feedback and training from our industry legends.
7:15PM - 7:30pm
Time for a Q&A! Wind down an unforgettable night by asking every question you've ever wanted about what life is like on the big stage (hello Les Miserable world tour!), to how you can make the most of your Music Theatre journey at JMC Academy.
About Natasaha:

Natasha Veselinovic is a versatile musical theatre performer, writer, director, and educator with over a decade of professional experience both across Australia, and internationally. Natasha has appeared in major productions such as Les Misérables (Dubai, Singapore, Manila), Peter and the Starcatcher (original Australian cast), Merrily We Roll Along, and The Railway Children (London’s Cadogan Hall). She has toured innovative works including Babushka Book Club and Killer Queens, excelling across classical, contemporary, and cabaret styles. |
As a creator, Natasha wrote the award-nominated Lesbian Love Stories and co-directs The Local Lesbians, a queer-led company championing inclusive storytelling. She is also Resident Director of The Seven Sopranos, shaping creative direction on national tours. As a teacher, Natasha fosters a collaborative, empowering environment that cultivates strong technique and authentic artistry, inspiring students to confidently develop their unique voices.
