What are we looking for?

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, especially with diverse groups of people
Willingness to share your experiences and learn new skills
A friendly, caring approach with a positive attitude and a willingness to complete task efficiently
Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with strong problem-solving skills
Genuine interest in giving back to the community
Familiarity with social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and blogs.

Eligibility

This program is open to students who are enrolled in any JMC Academy course who:

Have successfully completed at least two trimesters of studies
Are available to attend the JMC Student Ambassador training before key events (dates TBC - Feb 2026)
Able to assist in pre and post event duties including merchandise and collateral stocktakes, event prep and set up, pack downs etc.
Obtain a current Working with Children Check
Are available to work outside ordinary hours
Hold a current valid driver’s licence (preferred)
