Renovations and developments

JMC Academy Melbourne has undergone significant renovations and expansions, including the completion of the brand new 208 Park St campus in 2022 and the complete overhaul of 171 Bank St in 2023.

Transport Concessions

Domestic students can collect a myki transport concession form from student services. This form enables students to receive discounts of around 50% for fares applying to travel on all public transport.  

Students who already have a Centrelink Health Care Card or another concession entitlement card are already eligible for a concession Myki and don't need to apply.  

International students are not eligible to receive transport concessions at this time. 

There are limited parking facilities available for private student vehicles. JMC is close to residential areas and major retail and commercial premises. Students are strongly encouraged to use public transport, including trains and buses, when travelling to and from JMC. 

Street Parking

1 to 2 hour paid street parking close to JMC is available; however, parking officers strictly monitor the area regularly issuing parking fines.

A designated bike path connects the City and South Melbourne, via Moray St, about 150m East of JMC. Bike racks exist in front of 169 Bank St for JMC student use.
