JMC Academy Melbourne is excited to announce our 2025 Holiday Workshops!
Calling students in years 10 and above, and those who have finished High School!
There are 8 workshops to choose from – depending on your areas of interest and passion including Acting, Animation & Game Design, Design (Visual Communication), Entertainment Business Management, Film & TV, Music or Music Theatre.
$20 for a half-day workshop | $30 for a full-day workshop or multiple workshops held on the same day, with lunch provided.
Limited tickets are available for each workshop.
*Workshops require a minimum number of attendees to run successfully. We will notify you 5 days in advance if this workshop will not proceed.

Screen Production Project: Collaborate with Film and TV students to develop and shoot a sitcom scene.

Creating an animation ready character turnaround (2D): A 2D Illustration workshop
Learning how to pose, light and render a model in Maya (3D): A 3D Animation workshop

Screen Production Project: Engage in a dynamic workshop focused on on-screen performance, working alongside acting students to explore character interaction, camera presence, and performance techniques for film and television.

In this Music Theatre workshop, students will engage in a mock-audition experience, divided into two key components: an Audition Song Cuts Masterclass and a Dance Audition Workshop. All necessary materials will be provided three days prior to ensure you’re ready to shine.

The Art of Song Writing: Group session focused on writing lyrics, melody, and basic arrangement
Band Jam: Hands-on session in performance, improvisation, and collaboration
From DAW to Demo: Music Production Workshop Participants create and edit basic tracks using DAWs (e.g. Ableton, Logic)
