JMC taught us how to create pitch decks and get funding, to budget and distribute. Since JMC I’ve produced and directed 4 films and a few of them have gone onto win at international film festivals. In a small industry, having the loyalty from the people that you studied with (at JMC) and bringing them along on professional projects is so rewarding.

I never thought I’d ever make a career from games. What I learnt at JMC was the technical side of things: 3D modelling, texturing, and how to assemble an environment. But I also learnt the soft skills—how to collaborate in a team, how to take an idea and develop it.
