Audio students get involved with SOULFOOD

This month, the JMC Academy audio students in Melbourne had the chance to provide stage management and technical assistance at SOULFOOD; A Celebration of Soul, Gospel and Youth in music-making.

Hero_Image.jpgLed by Darren Wicks, SOULFOOD featured 80 voices from the Melbourne Singers of Gospel, and the MSG Youth Chorus, with showcases from neo-sound sensation Sweethearts, and the cool jazz-blues sounds from The Soul Train

JMC Academy students James McGauran, Tim Altmann, Tom Perkins, Dallas Vukovich, Simon Kopp, Jake Kelly and Yonatan Pranata successfully assisted with the stage management duties on the night including bumping in and out audio equipment, setting up the Front of House sound, stage management and photography at the St Kilda Town Hall.
