As part of our partnership with Berklee College of Music’s International Network, JMC Academy held a day of FREE hands-on music and songwriting masterclass, delivered by JMC Academy and Berklee Professors.
The event included an information session about Berklee College with an admissions representative and a specialised masterclass.
The day was open to all those who have a keen interest in the music industry and was free to attend.
The masterclass focused on songwriting skills and the improvement of performance techniques. Attendees were also involved in Ensemble training with Berklee professors and JMC Academy lecturers.

About the Berklee College Professors:
A professor in the Piano and Ensemble Departments at Berklee, Russ is a featured pianist, recording artist, composer, and arranger in many styles of contemporary music including Jazz, Latin, and Pop. Russ has appeared at international festivals, and has worked with some of America's finest jazz artists.
Holding degrees from Berklee College of Music and New England Conservatory, and now a Professor of Woodwinds at Berklee, Harry is an jazz clarinetist extraordinaire. He has garnered numerous national and international reviews, has contributed to clarinet method books, and has been charted at #8 on Jazziz Magazine's Top 40 'Radioactive' chart.
