Contemporary Music Performance at JMC is about more than just nailing your performance. It is about creating an understanding of how to arrange and compose music, mastering the tech you will use in the industry, and promoting yourself to be heard, loud and proud.

Timomatic (Tim Omaji)
Timomatic was a top 3 finalist on Australia’s Got Talent and has since released 4 x platinum, ARIA nominated singles including ‘Set It Off’ which peaked at #2 on the ARIA music charts. His live shows has attracted special guest invites to perform alongside global acts such as Nicki Minaj, Pitbull, Jessie J, Flo Rida, Salt N Pepa, Jason Derulo and David Guetta.
Jess + Matt
Jess & Matt are a pop music duo consisting of husband and wife Jess Dunbar and Matt Price who met at JMC! Jess and Matt were runners up in The X Factor season 7 and have since signed with Sony Music and released a number of ARIA charted singles!
Hayley Barnett
After graduating, Hayley spent some time developing her teaching skills with an independent company which teaches within the primary school sector. In 2015, Hayley used her inspiration from some of her JMC assignments to open Lucid Music, a youth focused music school with over 80 students and 5 teachers.
