Application & Enrolment Procedure
Local and International Student Information
Step 1: Application Process
Providing prospective students have met the entry requirements (outlined in this section), they must then complete an application form for entry into a Diploma, Associate Degree or Bachelor Degree course. This must then be posted or delivered to the Admissions Office of their local JMC campus.
The application form is available directly below for downloading; alternatively applications can now also be completed and submitted online.
Step 2: Personal tour and interview
All prospective students are encouraged to attend a guided tour of the campus and facilities with one of our friendly marketing and recruitment staff prior to enrolling.
Once your application form has been received, you will then be contacted by a member of the JMC Academy's Marketing and Recruitment staff who will then establish a day and time for you to attend an interview. If at this stage you are unable to attend an interview on campus, alternative arrangements can be made to conduct the interview by phone.
Step 3: Audition (For Popular Music and Performance students only)
Popular Music and Performance applicants are required to attend an audition to demonstrate their musicianship. For regional or interstate applicants who are unable to attend in person, your audition can be submitted through the mail on CD, DVD, or tape together with your application.
Step 4: Formal offer
Applicants will be notified of the interview outcome and successful applicants will be made an offer of enrolment in writing. This offer letter will be accompanied by an enrolment form which must then be completed by the successful applicant. The enrolment form may also be downloaded below.
Step 5: Enrolment
To accept an offer of enrolment, prospective students must complete the enrolment form, which includes information on all of the JMC Academy’s Terms and Conditions. The completed enrolment form must be accompanied by an enrolment deposit of $150.00. This deposit will then be refunded or applied to your higher education fees upon reaching the first census date.
Prospective students are required to read, and initial where relevant, all of the terms and conditions outlined within this form. Students under 18 years of age must obtain a guarantee signature from a parent or guardian.
The ENROLMENT FORM will only be processed if:
- All relevant information is provided, including three passport sized photographs.
- Accompanied by the JMC Academy Enrolment Fee.
- All signatures are provided as requested.
- International students must provide a copy of their passport details.
Following enrolment you will be notified of commencement dates and class timetables.
