Accommodation & Living Expenses
Whilst accommodation is not available on campus, the JMC Academy’s student services staff are able to assist interstate and international students with finding suitable accommodation options within close proximity to the campus. There are a variety of arrangements to suit all budgets including hostels, homestays, rental and shared accommodation.
The cost of living in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane also depends largely on the students’ lifestyle, choice of accommodation and social expenses.
As a general guide, an average student could expect to spend an average of $AUD300 per week on rent, food, and public transport. This does not allow for entertainment, study, private transport, utilities, or clothing. These items should be considered as an additional variable cost.
