On-campus Facilities

Our dedication to providing an unsurpassed quality of education in the Creative Industries impacts upon our commitment to provide our students with access to state-of-the-art equipment and leading technology. Investment in facility upgrades and new technology is a key and often uncompromising priority for the JMC Academy.

The JMC Academy’s facilities are all housed on-campus providing ease of access and integrated application. These facilities include:

Classes may be timetabled, Monday to Friday, from 9.00am to 9.00pm during semesters. Library and online research facilities are also available during these times.

Studio and practical facilities access is available from 8.00am until 12.00* midnight 6 days a week.

Technology

Over the past 25 years, the JMC Academy has earned the respect, support and confidence of many technology leaders including Yamaha, Digidesign, Shure, JVC and Jands enabling our students priority viewing and access to advanced design technology and equipment - in some instances even before they hit the mainstream market.

As an official sponsor, the JMC Academy has provided all students with the latest industry standard Yamaha equipment in all JMC Academy facilities in all three campus locations. All three campus locations now host Yamaha DM2000VCM consoles. This complete world class production console is also the first digital mixer in the world to receive official THX pm3 approval for surround sound production.
